In 1996 I moved into this lovely space, which is half of a 950 sq. ft. studio in an old carpet factory in Saxonville Massachusetts. It's 3 minutes from my house. I have spent 15 years and thousands of hours working and creating my art here. For 7 years ran my freelance graphic design business in a corner, in conjunction with my painting work.
Over the years, I have had the company of 4 different "studio mates" and enjoyed them all. As a matter of fact, today I was in the Arden Gallery and bumped into my former studio-roomie, Anne Haney. Very nice to see her!

But this year, I have decided to make a move to a new space at Fountain Street Studios, which is across town. My commute is now 12-15 minutes instead of 3-5. It is a good change, and overdue. While I will miss some of my friends, I look forward to a new environment and new inspiration.
As a matter of fact, I'm in the midst of disassembling and packing up my former studio and prepping and painting the new space. That's why my blog posts have been on "pause". Thanks to all my followers for hanging in here with me.

There is a lot of fun history at Fountain Street about which you can see here. Here's a picture of my new space, it's about 400 square feet with a nice view overlooking Farm Pond.

There's so much good energy, including a brand new coop gallery, Fountain Street Fine Art. This gallery was founded by artists Cherie Clinton and Marie Craig.
There's a lot of work to do, including painting, setting up ventilation and figuring out the best configuration for my new work space. Stay tuned!
